“I am a 17 year old Bengali-American Muslim woman who has graduated high school a year early and currently taking a gap year. What I want is to have more representation.

To have characters that look like me and people who generally aren’t seen on the big screen. I want to create art that isn’t made for numbers and likes but for me and others who don’t see themselves in the media.

I also want to portray who I am and tell my story as well because my entire life, I haven’t been heard and I am honestly sick of it. I want to grab people’s attention to important changes and have others understand that no one is ever alone in their story.

I want to be the role-model I never had as a kid and I want to be an Animator because of that.

I have applied to multiple art schools and have been accepted to Otis College of Art and Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Maryland Institute College of Art. All the art, except ‘Atelophobic,’ are in all of my portfolios sent to these colleges.

I would like to know your thoughts on how I could make them better and just your general perspective.”
