It was an enjoyable challenge to try to show the different textures and make it look appetizing.
In the first one I wanted to show a welcoming atmosphere so I included the flowers that were on the table. Then I thought I would focus more on the food so did more of a close up of the pancakes.

The June art dare was a good motivation for me to try experimenting with oil pastels.
I wanted to capture a café setting with a delicious smoothie bowl (although it ended up a bit hard to recognise the granola/banana/peanut butter).
