I am an illustrator, educator, and art director based in Providence, Rhode Island, and am currently working on NOSTALGIA, a middle grade graphic novel set in a magical antique shop.
Along with being a Teaching Artist here at Art Prof, I am also an Assistant Professor in the Illustration Department at RISD – my alma mater where I earned a BFA in Illustration.
Previously, I was an Associate Art Director at Airbnb. Working in a small team of fellow art directors and illustrators, I scouted artists from around the world and art directed them in accordance to the company’s needs.
I have also taught at RISD Project Open Door, an art and design program for underserved teens in the Providence public schools.

I am most passionate about creating comic stories. They are a perfect mix of my two passions – art and literature.
I find inspiration for my stories everywhere, from odd trinkets in antique shops to how peaceful I feel by a lakeside under an open midday sky.
I am most drawn to stories about people – I believe it is a blessing, out of all the people in the world, to meet one person and to learn their story.
