Top 15 Artist Website Mistakes

There are a lot of moving parts in a website, many you may not even know about. Even 1 of these mistakes can cost you a sale, or convince a gallery to not contact you.

  • Building site and pages without any planning.

Be very detail oriented, and know that building a website can be tedious and time consuming. Feedback is important so you aren’t wasting your time on what doesn’t matter, and to ensure that you get rid of these mistakes.

The biggest problem that most websites have is clutter and redundant information. Keep your website as clean and as simple as possible, and anything that can be removed, remove.

Removing even 1 word matters. Contact is better than Contact me.
