“I have been creating art since I was young and I particularly love to paint. I like to explore tone and human skin, and I enjoy expressing my emotions or experiences through my work.

I don’t feel confident at expressing my emotions or thoughts without my art.

Thus, my goal is to communicate with the world, or to use my art like diary entries for emotional catharsis. In the short term, I’ve been wanting to get into sculpture and mixed media more, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to translate my ideas into mediums like clay or metal.

In the long term I would love to get more expressive and raw with my work, and to go out of the box more. I’m also a junior, and would love feedback on what would benefit me when submitting to colleges or universities.”
