Prize Winner
“After seeing the Art Prof video on Lotus books, I was really curious to try making one. I loved the 3D and sculptural element to it.
I had a book full of watercolour swatches that I’d saved and thought this would be an interesting way to use them and see how I could make the book also into a sculpture.
I cut out around 1000 swatches, from which around 600 were used. This was a great exercise in relearning colour theory. For the covers I used an interesting poster image from a magazine.”

The second is a zine I made about the life of the Virgin Mary
