“The introduction to contemporary art inspired me to do research about local artists since in the media I consume I do not really consume anything from South Africa so I felt this was a good time to research my fellow artists,
This process has been very eye opening in seeing how much I have been missing being so focused on international art and media.
I have also been wanted to improve my artistic process where I do not really research I just produce so taking it slow and developing an idea has been fun too.”
