This is why I’m asking you to send me to Verified by Proof, a gigantic annual printmaking conference organized by the Southern Graphics Council.
Picture being with hundreds of printmaking nerds in a spectacular 4 day conference of printmaking demos, a materials fair with the printmaking suppliers, artist talks, panel discussions, exhibitions, and soooooo much more! See the conference events here.

This is all behind closed doors though because the conference is expensive, and very few artists share extensively what they see there. (academia still thinks everything on social media is inherently trash)
Conference Travel Budget

- $225 conference fee
- $75 SGC membership (required to attend the conference)
- $600 flight & meals
- $200 printmaking supplies I can buy & demo later in videos
- $1100 TOTAL
On top of that, the conference is in Providence this year where 3 of our fabulous Teaching Artists reside: Cat, Mia, and Dorian!
My former RISD professor Andrew Raftery is doing a studio tour, and I’ll be able to visit places like letterpress shops!!! Community printshops!!! Galleries!!! Museums!!!
My head explodes thinking about how much I could document there and share with all of you. Fingers crossed we can get enough funding for me to go!!!
